Summary[]
Kat decides to show Paz her workshop. She soon gets unclear about the nature of their relationship, and goes out of her way to act romantic. In doing so she gets careless and distracted, resulting in a lab disaster. Paz tells her it's alright, and they kiss.
Unfortunately, while kissing, Kat realizes that Annie has seen them, and Annie runs away. Kat then tries to find Annie to see how she's taking the sudden realization about her friend. Kat looks everywhere, eventually stumbling upon Reynardine, asking him for advice. Rey then comforts her before she continues her search for Annie whom is found outside the Decontamination Habitat where they played in Chapter 6: A Handful of Dirt. The two girls talk things through and then enter the room.
